The Ascension of the Lord

13 May 2018

Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Good News to all creation.

Introduction

Jesus has ascended to the Father as our hope of all good things.  His call, in our day, is for us to share the Good News in new, varied and innovative ways.

Prior to his ascension, Jesus promises the apostles that they will be his witnesses when the Spirit comes upon them.

Second Reading: Ephesians 1:17-23

Paul prays that we may be filled with hope as we are enlightened to understand the full rich mystery of Christ.
