Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

28 October 2018

“Go; your faith has saved you.”

Introduction

We are invited today to hear the call of Jesus and to get up and follow him.  We will learn from the faith of a blind man how Jesus heals and loves each one of us.

Todays Readings

First Reading: Jeremiah 31:7-9

God promises salvation for the scattered remnant of Israel, return from exile and a joyful homecoming.

Second Reading: Hebrews 5:1-6

Jesus is for ever your great high priest, a kingly priesthood bestowed by God the Father.

Gospel: Mark 10:46-52

A blind beggar cries out to Jesus in faith and out of need, and Jesus cures him.
