OUR PARISH

2015 INCOME TAX RECEIPTS Please help us with postage costs by stopping to retrieve your income tax receipt from the volunteer at the main entrance of the church.

REDISCOVER JESUS On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the parish invited each household to take and read a book titled “Rediscover Jesus.” They were a big success; and, as a result, we ran out of books. We have ordered mor, and invite a representative from any household who has not yet received a book to pick up a copy from a volunteer as they leave this weekend. Happy reading!

STATIONS OF THE CROSS During the weeks of Lent, the Stations of the Cross will be said on Friday evenings, following the 5:15 p.m. Mass. All are warmly welcomed to this beautiful prayer of the Church.

  1. VINCENT DE PAUL Food Bags will be distributed this weekend, 13-14 February 2016, for return on the weekend of 20-21 February. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted. Thank you for your continued support.

BUILDING FUND The monthly collection of the Building Fund will take place this weekend, 13-14 January 2016. Your support continues to make a difference. Thank you.

SHARE LENT – A CLIMATE OF CHANGE PILGRIMAGE STARTS IN HAITI On Ash Wednesday, Development and Peace (D&P) launched its annual Share Lent campaign with its theme for the year, Create a Climate of Change. This year for Share Lent, D&P invites you to join a Climate of Change pilgrimage. Together, we will journey through Lent with people whose lives are being changed with your support. In Week 1 we meet Adonis Medjine from Haiti. She is a survivor of the 2010 earthquake, who is benefitting from a social enterprise project to raise chickens. “I have a husband and two children. Thanks to this job and the wages I receive, I can take care of my family, send my children to school and complete a few projects.” The Share Lent collection will take place on 12-13 March, Solidarity Sunday.
