Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

23 February 2020

Be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.

Introduction

We are called to be holy, just as God is holy.  We are to love one another, not just those who are close to us, but those from afar and those we might even consider to be enemies.

Todays Readings

First Reading: Leviticus 19:1-2, 17-18

We are to be holy as God is holy.

Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:16-23

The Spirit of God lives among us, for we are God’s temple.

Gospel: Matthew 5:38-48

We are to be perfect, just as our heavenly Father is perfect.
