Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

7 October 2018

“What God has united, man must not divide.”

God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone.”  God gathers us into community, to be members of the body of Christ, so that we might never be alone.  Let us offer our thanks to the God who made us and called us to be God’s very own people.

Todays Readings

First Reading: Genesis 2:18-24

Man and woman are made in the image of God, to live in communion with each other.

Second Reading: Hebrews 2:9-11

Jesus our brother leads us into the fullness of holiness.

What God joins together in harmony, humanity must not divide or separate or subjugate.
